  Pat Richter

Pat Richter has been painting since she was in high school. Pat's first complete paint set was given to her by her husband, Dave, for Valentine's Day. Little did she know where this would take her! Pat started selling her original oil paintings at small local art shows and Dave made the frames for the paintings in the basement of their home from old barn wood. In 1985 Dave quit his full time job and Pat & Dave began traveling across the nation selling Pat's art work. They could be found at art & craft shows from Minneapolis to Long Island and anywhere in between. The long hours worked provided them with the extra money needed to continue printing and to raise their family. Pat's acrylic paintings have been printed into products consisting of framed prints, Christmas cards, note cards, note pads, sticky notes, computer stationary, shirts, bags, mugs, pottery and much more. Many of her designs include baskets, floral, snow scenes and snowmen.

The business began out of the home and as the business grew more space was needed. After three moves to larger spaces they built a 30,000 square foot building to house their expanding business. The business continues to grow as a result of independent representatives on the road and showrooms selling to store owners. The original business name was Creations Unlimited however over the years the public knew the art work by the name Pat Richter and as a result we changed our name to Pat Richter Gallery.

Overall we have remained a small independent business and we will continue in the same manner. Dave enjoys building the business by marketing Pat's paintings. Pat & Dave continue to be amazed at the success their business and thank every one who has ever purchased Pat Richter products & collections and hope everyone enjoys them.
